Looty Co. is an online cosmetics and skincare retailer offering original products sourced from well-known and trusted brands, including brands such as The Ordinary, Simple, and other international beauty and skincare brands.
We are committed to providing our customers with genuine products and a reliable shopping experience.
2. Product Authenticity
Looty Co. is committed to selling original and genuine products.
Products are sourced from trusted suppliers and distributors. Product packaging, labeling, ingredients, appearance, or design may occasionally differ depending on the country of manufacture, distribution region, or updates made by the manufacturer.
Where applicable, products are sourced and sold in accordance with relevant National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) requirements and applicable regulations in Sri Lanka.
3. Product Information
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, ingredients, prices, and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, manufacturers may occasionally change packaging, formulations, ingredients, or product designs without prior notice.
Product images on our website are for reference purposes, and the actual product may have minor differences in packaging or appearance.
4. Orders
Once an order has been placed, customers are responsible for ensuring that the provided information is correct, including:
- Customer name
- Contact number
- Delivery address
- Products and quantities ordered
Looty Co. reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order in situations including suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, product unavailability, or other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order.
5. Pricing & Payments
All prices displayed on our website are shown in the applicable currency and may be changed without prior notice.
The price applicable to an order will generally be the price displayed at the time the order is placed, subject to correction of genuine pricing or technical errors.
Any available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.
6. Delivery
We aim to deliver orders within 5 working days after the order has been confirmed.
Weekends and public holidays are not counted as working days.
Although we aim to meet this delivery period, delays may occasionally occur due to courier delays, weather conditions, public holidays, incorrect delivery information, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Customers should provide an accurate delivery address and a reachable contact number when placing an order.
7. Damaged, Incorrect or Misplaced Orders
We accept return or replacement requests where:
- A product arrives damaged;
- The customer receives an incorrect product; or
- There is an issue with the order caused by an incorrect or misplaced item during order fulfilment.
Customers should contact Looty Co. as soon as possible after receiving the order and provide their order details together with clear photographs or other reasonable evidence of the issue.
Once the issue has been verified, we may provide a replacement, refund, or another appropriate solution depending on the circumstances.
8. Change-of-Mind Returns
Due to hygiene and safety considerations associated with cosmetics, skincare, and personal-care products, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer has changed their mind.
Products that have been opened, used, tested, or had their original seals removed cannot normally be returned unless the product was damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied.
This policy does not limit any rights customers may have under applicable Sri Lankan consumer protection laws.
9. Allergies & Product Suitability
Customers are responsible for checking product ingredients and determining whether a cosmetic or skincare product is suitable for them before use.
We recommend performing a patch test where appropriate and following the manufacturer’s instructions.
Individual results may vary, and Looty Co. does not guarantee that a particular cosmetic or skincare product will produce a specific result for every customer.
If you have a known allergy, skin condition, sensitivity, or other medical concern, seek appropriate professional advice before using a new product.
10. Promotions & Discount Codes
Promotions, discount codes, special offers, and giveaways may be subject to additional terms.
Looty Co. reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotional offers where reasonably necessary.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
11. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website available and functioning correctly. However, temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical issues, hosting problems, or circumstances outside our control.
12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Looty Co. name, website design, original graphics, written content, and other original materials created for Looty Co. may not be copied, reproduced, or commercially used without permission.
Third-party brand names, trademarks, logos, and product images remain the property of their respective owners.
